What our customer's say!
"Electric stapler", Works well, but is loud. At first my staff was leary of due to the high noise when it staples. It is large in comparison to a similar model. It would not fit well on a desk.
"great product", I am very happy with this product. For years, I have used an earlier version of this stapler at work and it has been great.
"good stapler, but...", This stapler does the job, but it does not allow you to adjust where the staple staples. I wish I had known that or thought of checking before I bought it as I would have purchased a different one. Otherwise it works okay for jobs where it doesn't matter where you staple.
"Quit after a month!", It worked fine for a few weeks except if to few or to many pages were involved. Two or three sheets sometimes would not trip the switch without holding both sides of the papers. twenty sheets sometimes would stick in the machine after it stapled. It died after four weeks.
"Well made electric stapler", My wife has been using this stapler at her office for quire a while and liked it so much that she wanted one for home. Her last electric stapler in her home office did not last even a year. She has been using her new one for a while and she says that she likes it as much as the one at her office. For her, an electric stapler is important, so I am happy she is happy.

"Solid product and dependable", Finally an electric stapler that does everything it claims to do. I have gone through many staplers being that I am an accountant. The Stanley Bostitch Electric Full Strip 20 Sheet Capacity Stapler With Anti-Jam Mechanism is heavy duty, will staple up to twenty sheets pf paper and it anti-jam proof! It has a nice sleek design so it's not an eye sore on your desk. It is a little loud when it staples but I would rather deal with a loud bang instead of prying out jammed staples with a pair of scissors. With the push of a button, the front load makes it easy to fill and it will hold an entire strip of staples, so no more breaking the ends off to make them fit. Worth the investment.
"Broken already?", This stapler worked great for almost 4 months. Now it cannot recognize that the staples are loaded in, the red "out of staples" light is always on, and it will not staple. No visable problem, but it does not work. I'm going to order something sturdier.
"nice inexpensive stapler", Good stapler for my employee who has joint issues. It's loud but works well for intermittent use in my small office.
"It works..After a fashion", Update:...July 30, 2009
This is now a ONE STAR rating. This "20 Sheet Capacity Stapler" gave up the ghost after stapling eight sets of 12 sheets of paper. Oh, it will still staple three to four sheets together, but my $[...] hand stapler will do that.
This is an costly piece of crap. ................................................................................................................................................................... I received this stapler four days ago, and am not impressed with the quality or workmanship. Even though the stapler does work, loading it with new staples is somewhat difficult, and a task that my wife requires me to handle because she said that it is too much of a hassle for her to do.
As another reviewer stated, it is very hard to get fully open so as to get the new staples loaded. It seems that the mechanism for opening and closing it was not quiet engineered or assembled properly.
That does not inspire too much confidence as to what the longevity of the item will be. I really do not understand how the retail price could ever have been around $85.00.
Most sellers on the internet are selling it for about $[...], and at even those prices, it seems overpriced, based upon the quality of the materials and assembly. I have been using it, and it staples alright so far, but for how long I do not know.
"Failed after light usage.", Ultra light use in my home office - after 2nd set of staple refills it just started making a quiet "pop-pop-pop" sound and refused to continue. It was not jammed - it had failed completely. I messed around a bit with making sure that the solenoid wasn't stuck or that a wire wasn't lose.
This thing sounds like someone is hitting your desk with a hammer as hard as they can.
