VIN Barcode Generator

A VIN (vehicle identification number) has exactly 17 characters: letters and digits, never I, O or Q. Dealers, workshops and auctions print it as a Code 39 barcode on windscreen and service stickers, because Code 39 reads letters and digits and every scanner supports it.

The tool checks the length and the allowed letters. It does not look the car up. North American VINs also have a check digit in position 9; cars from other regions often do not, so the check is not forced here. Print many stickers at once with label sheets.

Exactly 17 capital letters and digits. The letters I, O and Q are not allowed.
